The Cyprus Choreography Platform is an annual choreographic institution organized by the Department of Modern and Contemporary Culture of the Deputy Ministry of Culture and the Rialto Theatre.
The Platform, which aims to create and present new works of contemporary choreography to the public, has contributed significantly with its twenty-two previous editions to developing and promoting contemporary dance in our country.
Having been renewed as an institution in recent years, the Choreography Platform continues to aim to support Cypriot creators and present new talents of contemporary choreography to the public. The twelve choreographers shortlisted by the Selection Committee are intensively practicing with their teams, to present their new projects.

It is noted that the Greek choreographer Christos Polymenakos has the responsibility of mentoring the new choreographers in the process of preparing their work.
Since 2019, the CCP organization entered a new era with an ever-expanding category of participants, the “New Choreographer Award”. The New Choreographer will be awarded on the last day of the event(12/11) by the Selection Committee, which consists of Nadia Stylianou (Chair), Georgia Doetzer, Katrin Moschovaki, Erica Charalambous, and Andis Partzilis.
